IRDAI does not sell any insurance policies, nor does it announce any bonus or investment schemes. Insurance policies are sold only through licensed insurance agents, brokers or directly by insurers. If any person claims to represent IRDAI and asks for money or personal information, please report the matter to the nearest police station. Policyholders are advised not to share policy details, OTPs, bank details or make any payment to unknown callers claiming to be from IRDAI or any insurance company.
